Little Bird

26.04.01This is just a sample quest using the include command. By the station interconnections you can see the bird is seperated. The bird acts differently depending on what happens (the player can find an apple to feed it to the bird). Station interconnections can be displayed by pressing Ctrl+F1 in the editor.

You're standing in front of a door. The door seems to be open.
Enter the door.
Wait some time.
You put back the book.
Continue
You're inside a large room.You can see a bookcase, a wooden drawer, and a carpet with strange patterns. This room smells of dust.
Examine the bookcase.
Search the drawer.
Examine the carpet.
Leave the room.
The drawer is closed. A key might help here.
Continue.
You sit down a bit. You suddenly feel a little dizzy.
You get up again.
You try to make sense of the pattern by walking around the carpet and examining it from all sides. It seems slightly familiar. You touch the thick fabric, and pull it to the side.
You are standing close to a carpet.
A door shows up below the carpet. It seems to be open.
Enter the passage downways.
Sit down on the carpet.
Go to the entrance of the room.
You go through some of the other books, but don't notice anything special.

You put the book in your pocket.
Continue.
As you open the pages to the black book, a strange glow lights the room. You can hear a voice coming from all sides.
"Put down the book, stranger!"
You put back the black book.
You keep the book.
You're standing in front of a bookcase. Some of these books seem to fall apart.
A large black leathered book catches your attention. You can't decipher its title, as it seems to be written in magic language.
Pick up the black book.
Examine some books.
Go back to the entrance of the room.
You're at the entrance of a passage. The glowing black book shows you the way down the passage.
Everything is dark around here. You can't see your own hand. Maybe you need a light.
You go deeper down the passage.
You go up again.
You're deep inside the underground passage. Spiders crawl beneath your shoes, and there's a cold wind biting your face. After a bit of walking, the passage and at a closed, metal door. You can hear a high pitched voice screaming from inside. The door is closes.
You go back and up the passage again.
You wait around a bit, and get hungry. You pick up a shiny red apple from a tree close to you.
Eat the apple.
Don't eat the apple.
You wait around a bit, but nothing special happens.

The apple tastes good. Your appetite is satisfied for now.
Continue.
The bird sings a song:
There once was a love bird
High up in the sky
All day flying around
Doesn't matter much why
Well it mighta been lonely
Or a little bit sad
Or it might well just be
Love birds are plain mad
Continue.
A little bird is flying around you, chirping.
A little bird is flying around you wildly. It seems to be a bit hungry.
A litte bird is sitting down on your shoulder.
The little bird seems to like you and sings a song in bird voice. It's a song about love.
Feed the apple to the bird.
Listen a bit to the little bird.
The bird likes the red apple and eats it.
